BG> These stats were generated with Russell's Courier on MY own line, BG> with a connect to David's Courier. The Rx and Tx levels, and the BG> S/N ratio, are all quite acceptable, and indeed this is the very BG> call upon which we transferred a 1.4Mb zip at just a hair over BG> 4000cps overall (and with 16 Blers too)... Yeah, its definitely the rather pronounced slope its got that is the problem when you call someone like Paul with an average line. The S/N is fine, the S/N on the call Russ did from FNQ was due to the S/N on that line, which was bad enough to be audible. Your 7db on your local loop isnt the cause of your problems to Paul. You also now have a problem that this call with a Courier at your place is completely different to what you get with the Sportster V34+ WITH that classic shift of the entire curve too. Urk. Corse you really should repeat the test today with both a Sportster V34+ and a Courier on your line, calling Dave, to eliminate the possibility that Telstra has changed something about your line. The Sportster V34+ data is from a message dated 16-Mar of yours. ------------------- Freq |Sport|Courier ------------------- 150 41 30 300 25 18 450 23 17 600 22 16 750 22 16 900 22 17 1050 22 17 1200 22 17 1350 22 18 1500 23 18 1650 23 19 1800 24 19 1950 24 20 2100 24 20 2250 24 21 2400 25 21 2550 25 22 2700 26 22 2850 26 23 3000 27 23 3150 27 24 3300 28 24 3450 30 26 3600 33 30 3750 40 38 @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
