I looked at a couple sites to get an idea what's out
there. One cannot go to any brick and mortar computer
stores and find anyone that can even know what OS/2
is. The key to finding a modem card that will work in
your computer is a: it's not going to be under $30
new, and b: it will say it works with windows NT.

US robotics has a V92 Performance Pro PCI modem that
supports Linux and NT4, probably your best bet.
Creative labs has Modem Blaster V.92 PCI that says
supports NT4 at V.90. Zoom has models 2920 pc, 2925
pc, 2822 pc, and 2818 pc that all work with NT.

Creative labs also shows a modem blaster serial that
is likely to work, I think you would prefer the
internal pci card.

A good place to look for deals on these is
www.pricewatch.com. Also if you know what you are
looking for, you may find one at a computer store.
Next time your in one, say you have windows NT4 and
would like a modem card that works with it. Makes sure
it's listed on the box.

As for installing it, after you put it in the slot,
close the box and hook up the phone line, boot os2 and
press alt-F1 when the white bar shows up in the upper
left hand corner. Select boot with hardware detection
and let it boot. You then need to find out what
address and IRQ is assigned to the modem so you can
modify the com driver line in your config.sys file.
Sometimes you can also catch this info at the
beginning of the bootup when the bios displays the PCI
addresses just before os2 starts. It's really quite
easy and I or someone here can help you through it
when you find a modem.
