LH>. just hadn't looked IN the boxspring . . he'd torn a whole (or found one
LH>already there) and crawled up inside.........
LH> he was one sweet bird for about an hour ...........
So was this baby--I don't know if he was scared, or sorry... He got
out AGAIN a couple days later (bent a door clip!), and got bitten by the
neighboring Jenday. Broke off a toenail, and he bled all over the place.
Fortunately for him, no permanent damage was done--he's VERY lucky, and
now he's in a different cage (one that LOCKS) in a different room, well
away from the jendays.....
LH> i took to using those oval links that screw shut on his cage . he plays
LH>with them, but i always flip them around so that they are'nt on the same
way
LH>. and get them as tight as i can . . so far, so good!......
These guys learned FAST how to open a quick link! I had to resort to
something else, I don't even know the name of it but it's a mountain
climbing clip, kind of like a lobster-claw necklace clasp.
LH> wish i had the time and money for one of your cherry heads . i think
LH>they're gorgeous......
Let me know when you do--I'll probably have more in late summer again!
