More than likely he won't, since that isn't the default Symbios
behavior. Symbios AFAIK only boots a CD in floppy emulation mode, in
which case nothing you do in the SCSI BIOS has any impact whatsoever on
whether you boot a SCSI CD. If a bootable CD is inserted, that's what
boots.
