Add four days for all that stuff in Win 98. PS> And Knoppix with all the PS> goodies that come with it? ;) ALL of them yes and though I didn't time it it seemed about the 40 minutes the interactive interface specified, perhaps a tad under. Couple of minutes to setup NNTP, SMTP, POP, a couple of browsers and the dialer from memory. Dual boot and power management works flawlesslessly. Heck everything appears to work flawlessly. All in all an easier install than Windows any day of the week :-) It doesn't like my internal modem which is to be expected nor the soundcard, it's a dual use Rockwell software deal :-( Picked right up on the external modem though and anticipate the sound card will be recognized and setup when I slap the Turtle Beach card in there. Next month I buy an external hardware 56K modem :-) --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.45* Origin: FONiX Info Systems * Berkshire UK * www.fonix.org (2:252/171) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 252/171 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
