I don't THINK that Belle did them a favor, I KNOW that he did. Had he NOT
signed for less and allowed himself to go to arbitration when it would have
been his time, he'd have made a hell of a lot more than what they paid him.

First off, to mix metaphors, the ball was in their court. They could have had
him for less than what Chicago signed him for before it even got to this
point. In the second place, I don't think what he signed for was ridiculous.
