The first thing I would check is that it is not your own node removing the path and seen bys from mail heading to zone 2. In my sbbsecho.ini I use ZoneBlindThreshold = 4 and that seems to do what I want it to do.

The help for that option says we are breaking the rules of 3D addressing but that is what we want today when mail is moving between zones.

It is much better to leave path and seen by lines intact. If your link is the one removing them then ask your link if he has options to leave them intact. Most modern tossers can do that and and some older ones can't.
