| subject: | BJ-300 Service Manual wan |
David, at 06:58 on Apr 29 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG>> I am in urgent need of a Service Manual for my Canon BJ-300 BG>> bubblejet printer, RS>> Have you tried that Cooma crowd ? BG> No, what Cooma crowd is this then? DD> The inner city Canon approved repair place is the Business Equipment Shop DD> in Mary street. We had a LBP8III-R LASER repaired there recently. I have now spent the better part of 2 days trying to source a manual, and Canon are blocking me every inch of the way. I've called Canon in both Brisbane and Sydney, as well as their service agents, Silicon Data and Logical Technologies, none of whom will sell (or otherise provide me with) a manual. If you have contacts in the Business Equipment Shop, I'm sure they'll tell you much the same thing too. Do you remember the number of the Canon BBS in Melbourne, or the name of its sysop (Sean something, perhaps?). I had a bit to do with him at one time, but there is no longer any info about them in the current nodelist. This is fucking insane, and I can't believe it can be so hard getting a lousy bloody manual. Naturally, I'm still open to suggestion...
