If you haven't already finished that project, do try this:  Marine 
and Polish Cleaner.  It's made by DuraGloss and may be available 
from you local car parts store.  It sure impressed me, and left 
a very nice shine on my rather previously badly ignored hull!

I think I was to Bangor one time.  Spent most of my working visits 
in the southern coastal area.  
BTW, the stuff I mentioned isn't very cheap, but what it did for 
my boat made me a believer in it!  
... New boat shoes don't grip better, they just cost more.
