No the leaves aren't ferny. The botanical name is verbena .  Well
I'm not sure the exact name of mine. But the family is
Verbenaceae.  I gather it's a perennial. The one I have has a
trailing habit of growth, and the leaves sorta look like an herb.
They look a lot like the Mexican Oregano I grow. (lippia
gravolens).  But that's about all I know.  I see some Verbena in
my Park Seed catalog, but some of those mention lacy foliage and
this isn't lacy.
