I was wondering if you'd made your reservations yet - it will be 71
today,72 Christmas Day, and 74 on Saturday. Flip side - this has been a DRY
winter, both here and up north, and we will be relying on Salt River Project's
drought control measures to keep us in water this summer.
MA> Oh, please! I'm already into all the heavy winter

Hey - the HORSE ILLUSTRATED that I picked up yesterday at PetsMart has a
bit on arthritis in horses - lemme quote a paragraph:
"Newer products on the market for this problem are oral chondroitin
sulfates, intravenous hyaluronate and intramuscular glycosaminoglycans. All
of these products are components of the joint surface (cartilage) or joint
fluid. The aim in using them is to help make the joint healthier by
supplying the building blocks of the joint to help stop the destruction that
is being caused by the inflammation."
The pills Mrs. Braswell got me that make me SYMPTOM FREE of my
arthritis, and I can't emphasize enough how much they've helped me in getting
RID of the pain - especially that one bad joint in my foot that I DRIVE WITH
(I have ALWAYS accelerated by pushing the pedal with my right big toe) - have
the following ingredients:
Glucosamine sulfate - 125 mg.
N-Acetyl Glucosamine - 125 mg.
Glucosamine HCl - 125 mg.
Chondroitin sulfate - 125 mg.
It's by BIOCHEM and is called GLUCOSAMINE COMPLEX.
I was a skeptic at first, taking it every day when I remembered to with
my daily Vitamin C. I quit even thinking about it after the first week or
two as I didn't see any immediate improvement. Imagine my astonishment when
I realized almost a month later that #1, my toe hadn't hurt in about two
weeks and #2, I no longer had to do the warm-up exercises prior to riding.
Still a skeptic, I ran out of them and didn't take them for about two weeks -
who knows, I may have been in spontaneous remission - (sure) - and the
symptoms were back. It still may be the placebo effect, but I gave a bottle
to my best friend who had similar success with arthritic hands. She ran out
and bought some stuff at the drug store that had ONE of the components in it,
but found out that it didn't work half as well.
The bottle says that it is produced by Country Life in Hauppauge, New
York. I pay about $15 for 50 and take at least one most days, sometimes two.
I'm not religious about daily doses of anything; it doesn't seem to hurt to
miss a day or two.
Just a suggestion. My arthritis isn't bad enough to be weather-related,
or maybe the weather out here isn't bad enough to affect it. I had
tendonitis once in an elbow and I know that cold air would make it ache
something fierce, so I have an inkling of what you may be going through.
