  A funny, true story from years ago...

  Station Street Newtown is a long narrow downhill street leading to a
T and in the 60's a bunch of bikies moved into the house opposite the
T. They used Station Street as a speedway, roaring down and locking
wheels to side up to their front door, chucking donuts, terrorising
the neighbours. Complaints to police had no effect, so someone spread
oil at the entry to the T and watched the bikies slide straight into
their own house, demolishing the front (and themselves) entirely. 
There was a police investigation, but they gave it away because 
everyone was killing themselves laughing at bikies calling the police.

  The bikies swore revenge, but in fact they crept away to try another
suburb.
