I just got a free CB (new in the box Cobra 29XLT/WX)
and I have some questions for some of the tech types
here.  (Don't worry Bill, I'll tie it to scanning.

I currently have an amplified external speaker I use
with the scanner (see Bill) in the van.  I would like
to use the speaker with the CB also but I don't know it
I can.  I was thinking about just using an Y adaptor to
hook both radios to the speaker.  Would this work?
Also I'm concerned about damaging one or both of the
radios and/or the speaker doing it this way.  Could it?
What I don't know about is the fact that the output of
one radio would be going into the output of the other
through the Y.  Then there's fact that the speaker
could be receiving output from both radios at one time.
Anybody out there got any ideas or help?
