Out of my head. Have you a better value? I guess that would drive a compact
car on level road at 50mph. With a 1952 Ford Anglia in 1960 I pulled a 13 1/2
cwt caravan on level road flat out for about 10 minutes pacing a railcar for
movie making. The engine had been dynamometer tested [rear wheels] a week
earlier at 12.5 HP. Allowing for engine, transmission and tyre losses I guess
the pistons were receiving about 20 kW input.

My figuring was deliberately rough, just to illustrate that there WAS a
problem to face. In any case, if one cares for a battery, we don't recharge
