I don't care for those bothersome "security" suites. I've never used
one. However, I have used software firewalls in the past. I thought
them too much trouble and weren't necessary. I also didn't understand
half of what the dang things were asking me. I do use the Win XP one
way firewall. When I go to the GRC site and run some checks which are
on his pages, I find my box is totally stealth. I have wondered from
time to time what might be coming out of my machine to who knows who,
but decided to not worry about it.

The latter is the best way. I don't need it deleting a piece of
software because of a false positive. A low false positive score is
an absolute must in an AV program.

Well, I hope it has a "clean" interface.

I stopped doing risky Web surfing a lot of years ago. So far in the
years since, I've never had an infection of any kind. I have done
fine without those "suites" or those intrusive pain in the butt
firewalls. The best firewall is right between your ears. :o)
I'm really curious to see how Eset will work out.
