I have a subscription for Eset NOD32 (9.0.386).

Two weeks ago I installed Eset Internet Security (10.0.359),
because I received a trial licence for 6 months.

[Version 10.0.359 is not available yet, only in a few countries and
corresponding languages you can download.]

My main recommendation is:
Go to Advanced Setup.
Check ALL Threatsense parameters one by one.

Change Cleaning from Standard Cleaning to NOT Cleaning.
(I try to translate from my language to US-English)

When you let Eset do Standard (Default) Cleaning, any file that creates
a positive, will be cleaned or removed without intervention from the
user.

When you choose for NO Cleaning, you are asked what to do,
when a positive (false ?) is detected.

Have fun, I use Eset NOD32 for many years, never had a desire to move to
another AV.

When version 10 becomes available for Eset NOD32 in English, I go back
to NOD32 and a separate firewall, because hat gives me much more control
over what is happening.
