We found that the employment offices here in London, Ontario usually offer a 
sort of quasi-resume writing service and therefore are somewhat reluctant to 
direct people our way.  They would not even allow us to post a flyer on their 
bulletin board (we are across the street kitty-corner from them).  So we put 
posters up outside their building on the telephone/hydro posts.  :)
Grocery stores that allow individuals to put up small signs advertising their 
services are helpful.
