I am an adoptee searching for her birth parents. I have tried a number
of things to no avail. I tracked down the name of the hospital I was
more than likely born at and the library in that town has newspapers on
micro film. I copied down the name and phone numbers and want to call
the library and request a copy of all the birth annoucments printed in
June of '67,(of course I am willing to pay the cost to do this). What I
want to ask is for some advice on what I should tell them I need this
for. I know as soon as you say "I am adopted..." all kind of walls go
up. I also know that it is a stretch of a possability that my birth
would have been printed, but all I have left are long shots.
Also, is there a way that I can get a copy of my hospital record even
though I have no names, only the date (no time, attending physcian..)?
Thank you in advance for your help.
