Keyboard and mouse are indeed closely related, and the way they are
acting in new systems depends alas heavely on the systems's bios. And
alas system bios if not only different from brand to brand, but also
different with the mobo's of the very same manufacturer, within the
very same type. For instance, Aopen AK77Pro and Aopen AK77-333 don't
even come close anymore (the Aopen AK77Pro was the "233" preceder of the
"333") .
I'm afraid good old times are gone away: from now with every new device
or even type of device on we'll have to ask whether it will work
properly or not.

To give you a clue: The Aopen and even Epox I am speaking about, now
have a "feature" to alter the system's bios when Windy is running. For
most of it's new mobo Aopen even does't care anymore to provide *.rom
file. You have the choice or to run a Windy32 *.exe or to walk away.

The result of all of this of course is, as I mentionned earlier,
erratic behaviour is almost standard feature these days .
