I think it's time to give up on the built-in NIC. Disable it. Generic
Realtek PCI 8139 NICs that share IRQs properly using the January 2003
RTSND.OS2 driver can be had in the $6-$8 range. Intel Pro 100 NICs have
been selling for cheap on eBay lately too.
