I finally found the Apogee echo.  :-)
  Anyhow, a few questions (NOT involving release dates)...
  Will Apogee or 3D Realms ever do an RPG?  Mystic Towers doesn't count.  It 
doesn't have to be overly deep (something like Diablo would do), just so long 
as it's fun and multiplayer.
  Also, how about a 1st-person car/truck/whatever combat game?  Death Rally 
3D,maybe?  Ideally it would be free-form (arenas, not tracks) and have some 
extensive equipment upgrading and career options.  Like Necrodome, you could 
get out of your vehicle (by choice or force) and take the battle to 'em on 
foot.  Real physics and awesome lighting/smoke effects would be nice too.
