ok.

ok.

ok.

Remove this beast for first try!

The teles so/16/3 is known to be problematic to get workking AND to
been blocking something unwanted when not setup right!

At least to get that beast working you needs:
1. setup the IRQ it should use in BIOS to ISA only.
2. use the DOS setup program to assign the right IRQ.
It can use only 3 or 4 IRQs at all! So find one that
does NOT conflict with anything else is not easy.
On my mashine I've setup this beast to use IRQ11
as it would disturb something on IRQ 10, 9, and 5
but runs on IRQ 11 after changing capi.ini to IRQ11.
REM out VCAPI.SYS because it is buggy and disturbs anything.
Sou you can only use OS/2 to communicate with others.

Bites with the teles. Use IRQ 10 instead.
Use NICPAK to find the correct driver for it!

Not possible when the teles sits there. It should share IRQ10 or
another flawless.

The driver will assign another IRQ flawless when the teles gets
assigned to IRQ11.

No. It conflicts with the teles! as the default assignment will set it
to IRQ10.

Makes no difference because eCS will use IRQ12 for the mouse anyway.
Does not matter if the mouse is serial or PS2. You may change the
mouse flawless between 2 boots without changing anything in config.sys.

"COM1"

No. Let mouse = ON. Be sure that the teles is setup right! This is why
I have sayed to left off anything related to the teles until anything
else works well.

No need for. remove SERIAL=COM1. The mouse driver will find the mouse
either on serial or PS2 magically when anything is setup well.

No need.

But you may use Alt+F5 to go through the loading of the drivers step
by step. The loader will ask you then for each driver for install.
Answer 'j' until you knows which driver hungs, then you can say 'n' in
the next try for that to see if this helps.

It will - but until your hardware is served correctly it would not
help. It would make no sense to use it to rebuild the old desktop
because there are too many changes between WARP 4 desktop and eCS.
You may use it to save your eCS desktop and recreate it in a new
install from the archive with it.
