 You are amongst the Lucky ones. 
I could go for Cable but I refuce to also pay an Extra Charge becasue I
don't have cable TV. The damn junction box in right i nmy Front yard and
there is a conduit running to the front wall of my House, former owner
had cable TV,  but I still cannot just buy the Cable Modem service
alone. 
Which by the way is Really overpriced becasue there was bacicly little
to extra infrastructure required to add the Internet Service to a Wide
Band Cable Service system.
