The misrepresentation by the media of the Paula Jones suit
dismissal is simply astounding.
The crux of the decision was that after the Judge refused
to admit the history of predatory behavior by the Dufus,
she then ruled that there was insufficient evidence to
procede to trial. To echo Gomer: Well, gollee!
IOW, the judge whose past association with the Dufus would
prevent her service as a juror in any trial involving him
has now decided a jury need not hear this trial.
Let us not forget that Judge Susan Wright Weber has TWICE
been reversed on this case by the Supreme Court. The first
reversal was of her decision that a sitting president could
not be sued. The second reversal was of her decision that
records were shielded by attorney-client privilege.
Judge Weber, as a former student of the Dufus and one who
has continued a relationship with him, should have long
since recused herself from this case.
I expect to see her reversed again.
