We have one HP server that has a second NIC in it from that same 4 letter
manufacturer, and I can sit and watch the Network connation icon in the
system tray change status from connected to disconnected, and then back.
Cables good (replaced), and switch port is good, (moved it to another
port). Just haven't taken the time to replace it. And, with what? The
primary card is an HP. .
