Which version of the OS? What size id the disk? what do you boot with -
IBM BM/other/direct from Primary?
Which .ADD driver version are you using? What was the geometry of the
disk before and after updating the SCSI-BIOS.
Was that a BOOTOS2 type floppy boot with original .add drivers?
I think I read somewhere - can't locate it at the moment - that the new
2940UW [note UW not U2W] version 3.10.0 has changed the way that the
drives are loaded.
I had no bad experience with 2940UW upgrade - everything recognised.
You did remember to have NOTHING connected to the HBA when booting with
the Flash-diskette didn't you?
