Saw your tip on the molefoam and wanted to tell you what I heard from a
quilting expert...can't recall the name right now.  Anyway, she just
takes a stack of post-it notes...whatever thickness she wants and uses
that.  Haven't tried it yet but as soon as I get my machine out to catch
up on a few things I will give it a try.
