The bells & whistles remove it. I enabled it by using a hex editor on
\OS2\BOOT\ARCHBASE.$$$. 01 at Byte D9 enables the menu on every boot. 00
there disables it (the default). The number of seconds to display are
bytes DD & DE, which is 9 seconds in mine using DD=09 and DE=00. I
figured this out shortly after eCS install and having this same idiotic
problem. I changed on my old box in the archive tab, then inspected the
file to see what changed. 999 seconds makes the DD/DE bytes E7 03.
