I've been staying out of this, but your last post has provided a great way
for me to explain where you misunderstand.
You say above that "You don't own the actual movie". This is where the
misunderstanding comes in. You do in fact own that particular piece of
plastic with the movie recorded on it. What you don't own id the RIGHTS to
the movie. In simple english...
Yes you do have the right to sell that particular videotape.
You do not have the right to sell someone else legal authority to copy it or
make a profit off of it. That's the right that Disney always reserves.
