button and ejects after umount). Can't say for the DVD/CD burner during

Sounds like a very unfriendly working environment and EDS at least
partially have themselves to blame when things go wrong, then... ;)

I haven't looked at prices recently, but I guess the drives are still
expensive and the discs relatively cheap (more expensive than writable CDs
but cheaper than ZIP discs). Last time I bought 640MB MO discs, one costed
the same as one 100MB ZIP disc.
