Shit, I went back into the logs to find out if my end reported the
same thing that it did to Frank, but it's a completely different
problem.  That was when I was trying out the EMX port of Binkley,
and it failed.  That was a once-off thing.  A few hours later (you
may have noticed the line was engaged), the problem was fixed.  BTW,
I am now running with the EMX port.  BFN.  Paul.
