Page 4-4 of the 2864 Series Modem User's Manual
(Doc.No.:8406,Rev. 1.0, page 4-4) states:
                ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
       The firmware is distributed in a file with the
       following naming conventions:

       E2864md.vvv
       where
         * m is the model with value I, L, or nothing.
         * d is the D channel protocal for ISDN. Check the
           2864I user's manual for applicable values.
         * vvv is the version number.
       The first letter is the denomination for the model,
       with E standing for Elite, S for Supreme and B for
       an internal card model.
                ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Unzip the E_109.ZIP archive, one of the files you get is named E2864.109.
This is EXACTLY per the 2864 series manual. BTW, the E_109.ZIP file is
EXACTLY the same as on the ZyXel support BBS -- that's where I obtained
my copy.  ;-)
