Now that I know what the magic number is, I took a look, and the
code has changed from 2.50 to 2.60.  You have to put the full
number in there now.

E.g. V34 = 16, V32bis = 8.

Instead of going Modemtrans 8 whatever

you need to go

Modemtrans 24 whatever

because it is 16 + 8.  The code that changed is (mdm_proc.c):

binkley 2.50:
        if (m->mdm & newnodedes.ModemType)

binkley 2.60:
		if ((m->mdm == newnodedes.ModemType)
