Try SRVANY Gary. It comes standard with NT. There is a SRVANY.WRI that
explains how to use it in the %root%\system32 directory. Any Win32,Win16 and
DOS app can be setup with it as a service that can be started. If the app
responds to the windows close command, then when service is stopped, the app
will close. Unfortunately you can only start Binkely32 and Maximus/NT as a
service. You can't stop them through the service control manager, but instead
must manually stop them. Every other Win and Win32 app I've tried it with can
be both started and stopped when setup as a service.
