I don't think I can say there's anything wrong with it....it's more a
matter of personal preference.

When I had a POTS BBS, I ran Remote Access....and spent tons of hours
customizing it, adding options, etc. The board's operation and appearence
were such that folks actually sent in money to support it.

BBS, on the other hand strikes me as cumbersome in how it handles
email/netmail and the web interface is missing features and appears to
be rather boring.

It might be that I'm not reading/understanding the documentation, but I've
seen enough messages in the BBBS echo to make me wonder how well the
package is documented.

On the other hand, BBBS tosses its own mail, etc., which seems to be the
exception for many of the BBS programs that will run under Linux.

My impression that BBBS fine for a real tekkie(which I am not) but is far
too klunky to attract Internet users to Fidonet.

But maybe I should have started all of this off with my desire to have a
BBS on the internet that would be attractive to folks who don't know
about/don't care about BBS operations as we in Fidonet think them to be,
and that would run on a virtual site on a linux server. I no longer have
the space or interest to have a bbs physically located here....but I have
as much space and bandwidth as I choose to use on a server.
