Being one of a rare breed, a Florida native, born and raised here, I couldn't 
agree more.  What has happened to this State should have been against all 
laws.  I see the demise of this beautiful State in the same light as the 
demise of Earth.  The "Water Shortages" which are being experienced are 
misnomers .  There is *PLENTY* of water here...  for a reasonable 
population count...  When there are 1,000 people a day moving to Florida, and 
many more being born here, how come no one "saw" shortages, environmental 
disasters, etc. on the horizon?  Answer is the almighty $$$.  Blame Mickey 
Mouse's boss, the State's tourism department, greedy developers, etc. for the 
lack of the Florida Panther, the Manatee, the Black Bear, the Key Deer, etc.  
It is a shame, at best.
