GL> original Japanese (subtitled) but only 2 volumes. Is Pokemon out in
GL> English yet? I heard WBs (Warner Brothers Network) have bought the
GL> rights to broadcast it over here.

Not yet. I suspect if anybody was going to bring Pokeman over here, it
would not begin until September. I haven't heard of any announcements
regarding the series just yet. Despite the one incident, I think that
would be a good series to bring over here. I saw a little of it once,
   and it looks like fun.
I live near Mexico, so I can tune in to their bigger TV networks. And
they just started showing Detective Conan this week. I'd love to see
   the manga translated over here.
DD> I cannot blame you for not liking the subject matter of DNA2. Though
GL> Though, I've never seen the TV series, I've read some of the comic.

I've seen mostly the comic myself. I only have four of the TV episodes
   so far.

DD> I'd say his manga tends to reflect some of the things that the target
DD> age group of his manga are thinking about -- it is my impression that
DD> it was intended for teen boys. Personally, the worst part that I
ann
DD> get over is the main character's (Youta's) "allergy". Yuck!

GL> I would think so! But I don't see alot of adults going out to read
 GL> this comic book.

Oddly enough, Studio Proteus talked about his work being one of the
most requested work that they aren't working on yet. They announced
plans to try the Shadow Lady comic this year.
If it is based on what they've seen in the Video Girl Ai anime, then
   I can see why.
