true for several reasons among which is taking a beating by some pretty 
"obnoxious" people at times...
however, it is built into the Courier modems now... i just don't remember the 
AT command to see it... wouldn't take much to whip up a program to capture 
it, color it if desired, and display it to the callers... much like USRSTATS 
does now...
