MD> I've just made a password program using Turbo C++. It's really
MD> nice. It's actually one of the first programs that I've made
MD> using Turbo C++ language. I usually just program in languages
MD> that are probably outdated like QBasic. I used to program on
MD> a Commodore 64 (I've still got it, but I'm beginning to lose
MD> memory on how to program on it). Anyways, if anyone wants to
MD> get this program I made, then tell me how you want you're name
MD> to look in the file and source code (like: Registered to
MD> [name]). Then tell me what you want your password to be.
MD> Since I'm only a beginner at C++, the password has to be a
MD> number between 1 and 10,000. Then tell me if you want sounds.
MD> The current sounds are a low beep if the password is wrong,
MD> and three high (sorta) beeps. This is an .EXE file which
MD> doesn't need any other files to run it. It's a small program,
MD> about 29,191 bytes. It will vary on if you want sounds or
MD> not, how long you're name is, and what the password is. It
MD> won't really effect it, though. Write me on this BBS and I'll
MD> give you the (free) password program. I'll attach it to a
MD> message to you. And if you want, I'll give you the source code
MD> for C++ for free, also. Bye
I am a retired hobbyst who is also trying to learn to
program in C++ and it would be a GREAT help to me to see the source
code for your program if you're willing to share it. I have no
intention at all of ever becoming a professional programmer so your
code would just help me learn, nothing more. My name is Frank
Masingill and you can use 5280 for the password.
I hope this reaches you. My netmail address is 1:396/45.12
and my email address is frankmas@juno.com.
I have a number of the C++ teaching books but am right now
systematically going through a book by Lafore entitled _Object
Oriented Programming in Turbo C++ which as the same programs as used
in an interactive training program that runs in Windows.
Much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Frank
