 Wrong, My son Jeremy has ADHD/ODD,  Yeppers, they are definetly defient and
 can be criminal.  It is very much imperative that this child parents educate
 themselves on this disorder.  These kids are very argumentive.  And can
 become very dangerous.  I've seen it and live with it.  Fortunately, for
 me I love Psychology so I read enough to pretty much understand how to
 handle him.  But what works for me may not work for someone else.  If
 this child is ODD those personal disrepectful episodes are not a personal
 attack.  He probably see his mother more and is more comfortable and there
 fore she is seeing the effects more than someone else mite.  ADHD children
 are disrespectful also, but can be handled.  ODD children don't always
 remember some of what they do.  Tantrums can be quite violent and have
 heard of some hurting themselves.  If I get a chance I will post the
 systoms so he can see them.  Have to find them first.
