The latest is that our Electrical Engineer doesn't believe that we can
attach the CBM serial port/bus to the IBM (or whatever) serial (RS-232)
port, due to start/stop bits being required.  This means going through the
parallel port, no big deal.

Cables have already been built to do that, so all we'll have to do is write
some software (and we can pinch bits of that too!).
