I'd really like to try that however the disclaimer about
possible A drive damage by writing out to 1.7 Meg put me off a bit.

Now if I swap the el-cheapo NEC A drive for the H.P. drive now sitting
in the 486 I'd make up a couple of those diskettes.

Just precisely the sort of rescue utility I so like.
