| subject: | Resource Editor for OS/2 |
RB> A) Information on how to create resources by hand. Menus aren't too difficult. If you can find a sample application in a book and study the format of the menu resource, you should be able to make your own. RB> B) A freeware OS/2 equivilent of something like the RB> Resource Toolkit that comes with Turbo Pascal for Windows. Doesn't exist. That's the biggest reason why I just upgraded from GCC to Watcom. (GREAT upgrade, BTW...faster compiler, smaller EXEs, toolkit, good debugger). I believe IBM sells the toolkit seperately, but I don't know how much it costs. RB> creating resources such as dialog boxes, Bitmaps, etc. You really need a dialog editor for that.... (unless you want to spend days studying IBM's reference guide to resources...)
