The ztelnet program _does_ have this CA> function built into it. :-) I wouldn't be so sure. ^] in the standard telnet client gives you a command prompt and you can start external commands with !command. I don't know whether one could start a zmodem client that way, though. That depends on whether telnet connects the input and output of the child process with the telnet session. No idea.
