-> By the way, soe time ago i saw an ATAPI flopy drive (connecting to the IDE -> controller) which had a motorised eject, you could look in that direction too. IBM used to put them on the early PS2 computers. As I recal lthey still had the front button but a litle motor Dismounted the Disk. Kinda like ZIP drives. They have a remote eject system.
