In working on that Celeron box I had recently I got to the step where it wanted to make a (1.68M?) boot disk, and the drive chattered away and wasn't successful at it. Changing that out for a different drive fixed the problem. Nothing wrong with the one that was in there as far as 1.44M goes, it just couldn't handle the extended format.
