Try the following path:

[1]. Search for "uniaudio_104b_binaries.zip" at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu -
a bit outdated, and I hope they have finally removed the hardwired
checks for chipset/codec type.
[2]. ftp://152.104.125.40/pc/ac97/alc650/os2warp4.exe - this is the
Realtek multi-chipset driver, though it is targeted at newer ALC-xxx
codec families.
[3]. If nothing helps, contact me privately for an i845D patch I've made
some time ago - maybe that'll work with i845G[L] as well.
