There is a program called TameDOS (yes, the original TAME author) that is
Windows-specific and it works very well.  When I tried it, it tamed LORD
down to 1% CPU usage.  You can get it at http://www.tamedos.com (the guy
who develops it lives just down the road from some family down in Georgia).
