Hello all,
For recording midifiles to MidiDisks...
I need to time 74 minutes or 148 minutes or a specified number of minutes.
If anyone knows how to time 74 minutes no matter when in the day the start
time happens to be I would appreciate being told how to do it.
If I start too close to 24:00 hours then the day rollover breaks my btm.
So I'm trying to use %{at}fileage.
---
if exist tst del/q tst
echo start time > tst
echo %{at}fileage[tst,c]
delay 1
echo one second later >> tst
echo %{at}fileage[tst,m]
delay 10
echo 10 seconds more >> tst
echo %{at}fileage[tst,m]
delay 20
echo 20 seconds more >> tst
echo %{at}fileage[tst,m]
delay 40
echo 40 seconds more >> tst
echo %{at}fileage[tst,m]
---
gave result:
624822048
624822049
624822053
624822063
624822085
which is something like increments of 2 seconds rounded down.
I have not yet timed 74 or 148 minutes to see what happens.
This does not seem too promising.
Wasn't there a function to count seconds since Jan, 1, 1980? I can't find it.
Ideas?
Regards, Barry
