I tried Avast some years back. I didn't like it. About 3 or 4 years
ago I used AVG. They then ruined the AVG interface with too much
junk. That's when I went back to Kaspersky to see if it was usable
again after giving it up some years back. The '14 worked great. As I
said earlier, '15 had some problems. I reverted back to '14 using the
new registration. That worked fine. I figured when I got '16 I would
do the same with '14. No such luck. They forced me into '16.
The whole problem makes no sense.
I'm currently looking at the AV Comparative page to see which AV is
worth trying. Reviews in Amazon help when there are plenty of them.
A small number of reviews are worthless.
